If you can read this…thank a teacher This week, students, staff, volunteers and community groups throughout Comal ISD are taking time to show their appreciation to our teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week. From special lunches, presentations and small tokens of appreciation, our nearly 1,200 teachers – who are truly taking the future into their hands by shaping our next generation through education – are being celebrated this week. To all of our talented teachers, I want to simply say ‘thank you.’ Thank you for coming to work every day with enthusiasm and energy to face the many challenges of education. Thank you for working tirelessly, day in and day out, for not just the students of Comal ISD – but for the betterment of our entire community. To others, I ask that you pause and reflect on the special teachers who have influenced your life, and recognize the special teachers who are now impacting the lives of your children. Please join me this week by taking a moment to simply say ‘thank you.’ Andrew Kim
