If you caught last nights Alaska State Troopers it was a touching episode. To give insight there are a total of 64 names on the AST memorial wall of fallen troopers. There hasnt been a trooper death in a decade. Then they regretfully had to add three more names: Village public safety officer Thomas Modole, march 19, 2013; shot in the line if duty he was ambushed and shot and killed. Trooper Tage toll responded to a distressed snowmobiles with chopper 1 and her pilot, Mel Nading on March 30, 2013. That primary response helo had been piloted by him for more than a decade. Most footage seen on the show was from Mel Nading. Post rescue the helo crashed and both troopers and the snow moniker were killed. In 2014 two more troopers were killed. A AST sgt. And officer were both ambushed in a remote town and shot and killed. May they forever rest in peace an may there business be finished by there fellow troopers. -snoopy
