If you consider the State of KY to be elected officials thats one thing. However, I believe the State of KY is actually its citizens who overwhelmingly set the standards for marriage in KY by a vote of 75% to 25% in 2004. In a Constitutional Republic thats the rule of law. You put an amendment on the ballot and the people vote. One lone judge with a penchant to legislate from the bench should not be able to overturn the will of the people. If this judge and the AG think this is a done deal, they are sadly mistaken. I predict it will be less than 6 months before another lawsuit is filed. The officials who cowardly are refusing to stand by the rule of law will hopefully be removed from office by the people of KY. When you overrule the will of the vast majority of the people to kowtow to a very small % of the population, you are courting anarchy. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Isaiah 5:20
