If you do not want to be called a foamer try these methods. 1. Stop wearing safety vest with rail road names on them . First of all you look stupid. And you have no business being with in 20 feet of the gauge so you should not have to be visible since you are not suppose to be that close. 2. Stop jumping up and down yelling and screaming like a jack ass. 3. Stay out of the way of railroad employees. 4.Stay out of the road at grade crossings. 5. Stop rail fanning in large groups. Only 2 people at a time need to rail fan together. 6.Stay out of rail yards . 7. Go to places that a public next to the tracks. 8. Keep a low profile. See method 1 9.Do not steal or take souvenirs from the tracks. 10. Stop acting like you know every thing there is to know about trains . 11. When confronted by a railroad employee do not fight or argue just leave . The rail road agents will always take there side and you will not win. 12. Remember the railroad is not there to please you . It is there to make money and provide a service to supply the country . If you can do these 12 things rail fanning you will never have a problem . I have been doing this for 15 years and have never had a railroad agent local police officer or rail road employee confront me .
