If you ever feel like life just isn’t how it should be this Sunday is for you! Join us at 9:30 or 11 AM! · Attention: This has been postponed to Sunday, September 29 because our Lakota friend’s car broke down and could not get a replacement part for several days. Meet one of our friends from Pine Ridge Reservation today! Living Hope friends please join us today, in the Living Hope Teen room for an afternoon with a Lakota Storyteller, Carl Broken Leg who has come from the Pine Ridge Reservation to spend some time with us. He will be telling many stories about the Lakota people and their traditions. Bernice his wife will have many of her handmade jewelry and crafts available for purchase. Carl will speak from 2:00 until 3:00 and take questions from 3:00 until 4:00. We will have light refreshments....please come out and share in all that is Lakota. · 15,000 = 2 Months: It takes approximately 15,000 items of food to feed children for two months in our community who are at risk of going hungry on the weekends. September 8-October 27, we are having an all-church food drive for Food 2 Go, which works directly with Centerville public schools to make sure no child goes hungry so they can know people care and can perform better in school. We are looking for everyone who calls LH their church home to purchase a designated, individual size food item (see list in lobby or at elivinghope). Together we can reach our goal of 15,000 by October 27! To learn more about how you can get involved in this life-changing ministry, contact leader, Larry Fouty, at food2go@elivinghope
