If you follow all religions in these regions - including Christianity, you find the characteristic influences of the Vedic. Likely why all the great prophets and mystics travelled to the Indus regions to find the source of their ancient esoteric schools. This would include Mohammad, Jesus, and many others. When you actually learn the essence of Gnostic Christianity, Sufism, Yoga; they all contain the same stories, same essential teachings and root philosophy - if you will- with the best known Vedic teachings.
