If you happened to wonder into the old town of Geneva today you would note: One helicopter hovering over the court house. Undercover police (at least 10) and police with full body bullet-proof jackets and wartime submachine guns (5 to 10) and all manner of vans, and cars (about 20) and then "normal police" (about 30). Now generally as I am on the center right of the political spectrum I would simply look with pride at the protection of my little Republic of Geneva; but today this total over-reaction and over-policed event bothered me. After the death of Adeline maybe I would rather see the police FEWER in numbers and MORE PRESENT FOR EVERYONE.
