If you have a spare moment today, can I ask that you spend a kind - TopicsExpress

If you have a spare moment today, can I ask that you spend a kind moment of thought for my mother? Mum, Marjorie Turner, was admitted to Westmead on Sunday after having a major stroke, and is now waiting for Nature to take its course. Mum is the eldest of five, all born outside of Forbes, country NSW. Her parents, Irene and George le Maitre, came from a little channel island called Guernsey just after WWI [off the coasts of England and France]. Mum met dad, Neil Turner, at the Royal Easter Show while dad was in the Army. They married and settled at Concord West, where my older sister, Evelyn, my younger brother, Harry and I were raised. Mum has always been an independent spirit, had the ability to rise up against adversity, and to tackle any challenge head on. She has been a wonderful mother, who experienced the good and the not so good in life, and is a great example for us all to follow. My love and thanks goes out to Mum for all she has done for all of us: -Evelyns girls: Kylie Scott and Linda Scott and her husband Daniel Kicuroski, their two lovely sons, Thomas and Jonathan. -Harry and his partner Dianne Turner;, their two daughters : Melissa Mitchell and her husband Adam Mitchell; Emily Emily Maree Turner and her partner Ryan. -Myself and my wonderful sons: Geoff Head and his two older daughters, Alexandra Whittington and her husband Kevin Graham Whittington, and Danielle Head and her partner Mitchell Gardner and their lovely baby girl, Ellie; Geoffs wife Jody Trident Mgt and their two girls, Ashleigh and Stephanie; and my younger son Damian Michael , his wife Tracey Head and their kids, Jarrod, Ryan, Liam and Caitlin. May mum find the peace she so deserves.
