If you have been reading my posts for a long time...you probably know that I do not have time for the "prosperity preachers"...who always seem to be the ones prospering. Just saw a snip of one of these teaching multiplication and on and on. What ever happened to "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you"...or "silver and gold have we none but"...or"the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink"...and many more. Prosperity preaching does not lead to spiritual maturity or even the desire to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord...but to grow bank accounts for goodness sakes. I am not saying these preachers and teachers are not well intended...I am just saying that such plays to our base nature and our desire to have more material things. And of course if you will just send me a gift of such and such...you will reap a great harvest...and many will be held into account for taking monies from widows and those that cannot afford to be giving to such. Take it to the bank.
