M. On Wednesday, the SBOE will discuss (and take testimony) on the Proposed Amendment which would amend existing rules to make it clear that AP and IB courses must teach the Texas State Board of Education-adopted TEKS – not displace them. Also, please participate in Wednesday’s Twitter Rally #STAND WITH MERCER sponsored by Women on the Wall. On Friday at 9:00 A. M. is when SBOE Ken Mercer will present his APUSH Resolution. That Resolution plus the Proposed Amendment (discussed on Wednesday) will be voted on by the SBOE members.
