If you have high cholesterol or want to avoid it, you really need to stop smoking, maintain a healthy weight, and be physically active. To reduce your cholesterol, cut down on your consumption of all fats, especially saturated and trans fats. Limit your intake of eggs, and organ meats, and fill up on fibre. Fibre found in whole grains, fruit and vegetables can trap the cholesterol in your blood and eliminate it!
