If you have never seen or heard of Accel World before and youre a fan of Shounen Animé, this is one you seriously have to watch and why? Well, because its absolutely f****** awesome, thats why. Written by the same person behind Sword Art Online and originally aired in 2012, the storys about a small, fat kid who gets bullied all of the time and yet has a heart of gold....in a world where everything is digital and you have tags placed around your neck from birth (by the name of neuro-links). Anyway, theres this game called Brain Burst. Its origins arent known, but it basically makes your perception of things 1000 times faster than that of a normal human in the real world, meaning essentially time freezes for you once activated, but in order to keep this ability, you have to fight in brain burst and when you run out of points the program uninstalls from your brain automatically and you can never use it again. The in-game avatars are created not by you, but your mind, based on the scars you have from life and your own desired goals. Its incredibly interesting and with only a few episodes left to go, is one of my new all time favourite Animés!
