If you have such a friend, share this story with him or her! There was this man who liked to interrupt and divert the topics of discussion to his wishes. Not only that, he would reply with something totally unrelated in any email circulations. He even made unrelated comments on his friends Facebook postings. His actions were both irritating and irresponsible. His friends were very annoyed. They have tried many times to correct but he did not seem to understand the basic ethic in a conversation. One day his friends invited him to a barbecue dinner. He was late as usual. Everyone was eating. His friends did not bother to wait for him. There were a lot of food on the table They had a big roast lamb too. His friends were kind enough to reserve a seat for him. There was also a plate with a fish on his plate. He looked around. Everyone was eating the lamb. No one else was having a fish and there wasnt any fish on the table too. So he protested. Why is everyone eating the lamb and you all gave me this fish? Well, we have found out that you never like what we are doing. One of the friends explained. No, that is not true! he protested again. Yes, it is true. You like to interrupt whenever others are talking and you like to change discussions to your own topics, another friend said. The man kept quiet. Since you are so much different from the rest of us, I guess there is no point for you to eat what we are eating. Before you change we must as well give you something different! yet another friend said. There was a complete silence for quite a while. Finally he stood up and apologized to all his friends. He said he now understood what he has done wrong. He promised not to do that again. Then, everyone enjoyed the dinner! Yes, he got the chance to eat the lamb!
