Our government and by association, we as a people, are failing these men and women. I was just searching the web when I came across some statistics and I cant believe some of the information I read. 300,000 Homeless vets on the streets and the number is rising. The suicide rate is off the charts. In one report it states one a day. Then somewhere else I read up to 5000 a year. Very different numbers, both very frightening.
