If you have vids on YouTube and have correctly used #Freesound - TopicsExpress

If you have vids on YouTube and have correctly used #Freesound music and other free music sources and then a company suddenly copyright claims your video, fight it. Link your music sources to the dispute form. Just because #Tunecore or some other music admin company claims it, it doesnt mean they have a right to. They seem to be repping artists who use #Freesound and other free music sources then claim these as their own work and try to get paid for it. Point out that even if the so called artist has the permission to use the sounds if the ORIGINAL ARTIST still has their link up for free-use then that copyright claiming artist cannot claim that music as their own and be paid. Its really sickening how these people potentially are stealing others work as their own or taking advantage of the great natures of the original artists who want to share for free. Just won yet another claim against a video of mine where someone tried to claim a Freesound work as their property meaning anything I make for rescue on that video THEY want all to be paid to them! Now #YouTube needs to stop siding instantly with these crooks.
