If you have walked with God long enough you should have come to the understanding that God does His things in EXACT OPPOSITE to that of mans. He uses the foolish things, the things despised and forsaken of men, things without class or style, things unregarded of or unrespected by men. King David was nothing to write home about before his parents or brothers eyes. They ACTUALLY (not literally) rejected him as a child of the family. Or how can you explain what happened when Prophet Samuel came to anoint a king in Davids family and he was left out? What men despise God spices up for the top. Take another look at Gideon. See how he described himself: poor and the least in his family yet he is the one God wants to use. Jesus, the Saviour of the world, came from the poorest town and family of the nation of Israel. He was born to a carpenter. Imagine a king arising from such a place! Its unthinkable, you may say, but, well, thats what happened which cannot be disputed. God uses the foolish things. You might have seen yourself as a Nobody, as one not having one thing or the other to qualify for certain things. But be of good cheer. GOD WANTS YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!
