If you havent already tried this, AvgNiteCam has this great double exposure mode where you can see it as you shoot it. Just adjust the low light sensitivity (I set mine at 0.05 for this series of shots), and put the number of shots on Manual Stop (M). The last part is super important - it keeps shooting as you move your camera and you press the button to tell it when to stop. Its fascinating. After I shot this I wanted to transfer it to b&w, so I put used AnalogFilm. I did a lot of versions of this in color and b&w, but I liked the ghostly, Edgar Allen Poe feeling of the attached. Its a TV (and light to the left). I literally turned the camera around in my hand to get the illusion of the tv screen spinning/being tossed and flipping. I could see the shots as I took them. Really fun.
