If you havent been following along...Danielle and I have been fostering Cupid for about 7 weeks -- well, mostly Danielle. He came to us very broken after spending years on the street, and Danielle has loved and nurtured him to better health. He still has some health issues to overcome: hes deaf (but knows some hand signals); hes malnourished (but weve got him on a regular eating schedule and hes gaining weight); and he has a prostate tumor (which has shrunk since being neutered). Unfortunately, our involvement in Cupids journey has to come to an end tomorrow. With nowhere else to go, Road to Home Rescue Support is taking him back and placing him in a kennel until another temporary foster or permanent home arises. We wholeheartedly wish that he could peacefully spend his retirement being loved and cared for, but weve not yet found him a new best friend. Thank you to everyone who shared his photos and story.
