If you havent ever seen GARY NIX & WEST TEXAS, you must make a plan to see them SOON!! -- These guys are AMAZING!! - They were scheduled to perform at Dave -n- Dons in Woodrow tonight - and here came the rain!!! YIKES!! Cover all the equipment and WAIT IT OUT...will it or wont it??? Well, too risky - and here came another splash - SO! Packed up.....and Gary walks into the restaurant (its small, in case you havent been there) and starts singing - and here comes the rest of this unique band --- and before you knew it, impromptu and PERFECT - and Betty Williams Smith shows up!!! BY FAR, it was the BEST EVER cancelled performance!!! Again, GNWT! WE LOVE YOU!! You ALWAYS make it WORK!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Gary Nix, Lonnie Kuss Ray Espinoza Brian Ashburn Michael Swafford and all those who were there!!! You guys just ROCK the COUNTRY!!!
