If you havent picked up a copy of the new solo album, Im Not Your Suicide and book, Honestly: My Life and Stryper Revealed dont wait! When albums/books are released all the first week sales are tallied (on Monday, 12:00 I believe) and those are the numbers that determine the chart position on Billboard. Does it matter? Absolutely! The entire industry/world is watching those numbers and it determines so much. It trickles down to how well the album/book does and also determines the life of the album/book. We/I work very hard go continue bringing you music with a message and it seems to get tougher and tougher each year due to sales declining. The more sales decline, the less $ there is to make new music and release new projects. At some point, bands/labels will not be able to afford to release new music, at the rate were going. Some people view posts like these as trying to sell something. Well, to a degree yes. This is what we do and we need sales to continue doing what we do. Its that simple. As a Christian Im told often to let God do it. I believe God can only do so much but ultimately the rest is up to us. If you plan to purchase the album and or book, dont hesitate. You can get it at Amazon, ITunes, IBooks and hopefully anywhere locally you can purchase CDs and Books. Of course theres always michaelsweet as well. Ive never been much of a salesman nor will I ever be but I am asking for you to help keep this alive. I would love nothing more than to be able to write, produce and perform many more albums (and books) over time but I need you to help make that a reality. Go to any one of the above and pick up the new solo album and or book. If you already have, pick another one up for a friend, neighbor, family member, loved one or whoever you wish to bless with this message, music and story.
