If you havent watched this yet, please take 30 seconds to see for yourself what happened to Tamir Rice. Ive watched the video dozens of times and it doesnt look to me like Tamir even pulled the toy gun out of his waistband as the police have claimed. Maybe Im missing something, but I see Tamir pull up his shirt (to reveal the location of the toy gun) and then fall to the ground. Also, the officer claims to have told the boy to raise his hands three times before exiting the police car and shooting him. At the speed the car was approaching, how could the boy have been expected to understand anything that the officer might have shouted out the window of his vehicle? Finally, since there appears to be no one in the area besides Tamir, why were the officers in such a hurry to engage? After the child is bleeding on the ground, they appear to proceed slowly and with extreme caution. Why not before? youtu.be/SeoZkgjCHJ4
