If you intend buying ANYTHING over the internet that requires the Swedish postal systems involvement think twice before doing so! I just order a computer over the internet and because my membership with the company on internet I bought it from uses my nick name STEVE instead of Stephen the postal service refused twice to hand over the package to me : This DESPITE the fact that there is ONLY 1 person called Ringström-Hodgson living at my address and that person has the same National identity number as was written on the card I showed to the post office and also the fact that I had printed business cards with me saying Steve Ringström-Hodgson! I know that internet fraud is increasing and there needs to be rules and regulations - HOWEVER at the same time there needs to be a certain amount of COMMON SENSE behind the processes that the postal service have now put in place. I asked the following questions - 1) If someone send a letter to me with the name S. Hodgson will you deliver? the answer was NO it must be the same as what is written on your identity card!!!!- there goes the christmas card I get from mam!! 2) If I get a letter where RINGSTRÖM is spelt RINGSTROEM will you deliver) the answer was YES! because we know that some countries dont have Ö in their alphabet. - 3) oh!!! ok, apart from your reason for the ANSWER TO QUESTION 2,What is the difference between an incorrect spelling RINGSTROEM and and incorrect spelling STEVE - they couldnt answer!! I am now about to post this onto the postal service facebook page and wait for a reaction cos I am extremely PI**ED off
