Thank You Sherry Lynn Chastain, 54, of Monroe passed away on March 15, 2014 Her funeral will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel. The family will begin to receive friends at 11AM. Sherry was born on September 20, 1959 to Julia Rebecca Church and the late Willard Edward Church. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and all she ever wanted was for someone to be her friend. Mrs. Chastain is survived in addition to her mother, Julia, her husband of 16 years, Don Carson Chastain; children, Brandon Christopher (Christy), Holly Eilleen Christopher, Jeremiah Chastain (Jennifer), Barry Chastain (Amanda) and Tabatha Whitaker (David); brothers, Ed Church (Judy), Jimmy Church (Carla) and Larry Church (Lynn); grandchildren, Trevor, Madison, Carlee Jo, Nathan, Emmy, Brittany, Carlee Blair and McKinnley; her four-legged children, Squishy, Goodness and Rudy. She is preceded in death by her father, Willard; a daughter, Amy Marie Keller and her beloved Scooby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Chastain Family Fund at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail. Arrangements are in care of Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail.
