If you know me, you know my Belle; diagnosed with Leukemia at 2.5yrs old, she continues to fight for every moment of her life. Its been a long road, one that I hope will end when she finishes chemotherapy in February. Weve made a lot of friends along the way, friends who have become family. Ill never be able to pay them back for everything theyve done for me and for everything they continue to do for me. These people were once total strangers and now I love them dearly. I can however pay it forward and that is what I am doing by competing at Relentless Detroit in November. This meet is the best thing to happen to powerlifting. ~ Melissa Thompson
