If you put a gun to my head and said NAME YOUR FAVOURITE THREE ALBUMS, Id probably just shit myself and mumble something about wanting to live another day. Hypothetically, if I was braver, Id list Genghis Trons Board Up the House, BTBAMs Alaska and SikTh (official)s Death of a Dead Day. Ive been listening to this album pretty much non-stop since it came out and SikTh have been a constant inspiration on my songwriting, even if I fail miserably to be even half as unique. Groovey riffs with no allegiance to genre cliche, chord progressions that resolve in the most peculiar way, and a twin vocalist attack that actually DESERVES having two vocalists. Pretty much every djent band for the last 5 years has either been ripping off Meshuggah or ripping off SikTh, so I highly endorse you give them a spin if you havent already. -M
