If you receive an adverse decision from dwp in relation to PIP I - TopicsExpress

If you receive an adverse decision from dwp in relation to PIP I suggest you do the following initially: Its not unusual. You need to write and appeal asking for reconsideration and explain what you do not agree with. Also request the report from dwp and if you get in time state where it errors. Include a day in the life diary and further medical evidence if you have it ie appt. Letters and any specialist letters you can get these from your GP records. Record the letter then wait for the reconsideration. If its not favourable then get in touch we can help appeal further. Many are reconsidered in favour of the claimant so give as much detail as you can and dont wait for the call to send info. (Recorded) Also our forum notes will be helpful to you. Michelle
