If you settle for less you will recieve less. It is important we hire people on our team of quality. Did you know one bad apple in a company can bring down production by over 41%. Wow just one… Amazing what a big difference even one can make. To have professionals who know their job on the team and can do it well does not mean mistakes won’t happen from time to time – after all we are human – BUT it does mean it will raise the standards of all of us on the team. It elevates service and products to new levels and progress. If you constantly hire an “it will do for now” you will find you waste a lot of time and money. And even more importantly if you are the owner you will find you are not freed up to do what you are good at but having to look over shoulders in frustration and this short changes your expertise and everyone elses too. Only hire people who are the best at what they do! It allows all to win. After all a team is a fine machine who must be handled with balance. Balance between leading as a company owner and letting go for your team to be able to run and do what they are pros at. Every member of a team whats to win in what they do. And you want your customers to win. I only associate with the best and this lends also to the reputation and comfort of clients. Many years ago I would think well maybe they will rise to the occasion. This is not quite so…Let me tell you a story that really hits home on this one… This reminds of the women who came to me and said when I get the promotion to President of the company I will act and dress like the CEO… But she still operated with a worker mentality not a corporate thinker or business owner. She figured when she had the presidents position… then she would step into it. She waited a long time and was passed up for the promotion. WHY? Because first you have to be IT – then it is yours. Save yourself time and money. Hire those that are already there in the job they do…Quality out ways quantity anyday
