If you sit for a job, the last thing you want to do is a bunch of abdominal exercises where youre yanking on your neck for several hundred reps per week. Instead, try this: Push up plank - body aligned and locked, head to ankles should be in a straight line...look at the floor. Flat-hover plank - same cues, just doing it on your forearms. Think of sliding your shoulder blades and lats into your back pockets. Upper back should be flat and stable. Side planks - same cues, youre just on your side. Do the side plank from knees if you cant lock it in at full range yet. Go through this for 3 sets of each x 30-60 second holds, 3 x per week. Always try to get your body into the best position to execute the set. Youll develop body awareness and be a healthier person after a couple months of this :)
