If you think about it, lockout is a common weak point in deadlifting and its a common weak point in bench pressing...but Ive NEVER heard of it being a weak point for anybody in the squat. The leverage is just way too good as you come to the top. I do lockout squats not to train the lockout per se, but to put substantially larger loads on my body, in order to increase connective tissue strength, supporting muscle strength and neural drive.
