If you think cutting off a part of yourself (living beings called tissue), tumor or not, can be justified for the greater good of curing cancer; Then you also must believe that society would be better off without most of the people who fail to create anything of value. This is how murder becomes justified. This same ideology is a sort of plague in our world. Hitler used it, General Mao used it, Christian conservatives use it for justification of our attack on the varying cultures of the middle east. We should realize there are better more ethical and responsible ways to achieve the curing of cancer. Like when you give your body the nutrition it needs (unprocessed organic food diet high in fruits and vegetables and low in meat and dairy) and remove yourself from toxic environments. How do we apply this to society? Easy. You give people the knowledge and resources needed to start making something out of their life. The easiest way we have to do this is through making education public domain and free. Much like Libraries are public domain. Also we need to stop telling others how to live their lives and let them live it on their own then maybe just maybe they wouldnt feel pressured to rebel and act foolishly. The only way you can help this out is by changing your beliefs. Support open-source sources for books online, and information in general. Also I think music, really music is about the quickest way to change peoples brains. Listen to more music, break free of your genre boundaries, and actually listen to what these artists are saying. Music changes the way you think for the better and worse depending on what sort of vibe you enjoy. You like angry music it will help perpetuate such limiting mental states. Same with sad music. I find beauty in both, just noting the affects. Also nothing wrong with bringing up topics you think actually matter to people you care about. Dont be so afraid to talk about the answers to our problems as society, any mature person would, if we dont we just perpetuate our path to pure societal hell. Also Dont be afraid to listen to others and take every bit of information objectively. It could be truthful or not, but its not that hard to Do a bit of research on both sides openly entertaining the idea to find out. -Notes on how to Change the world, by yours truly.
