If you think the Obamacare website is a mess now, wait until they finish building it…This week, the House held hearings into why Healthcare.gov is such a disaster. And the official in charge of developing it, Henry Chao, admitted that about 40 percent of it has yet to even be built. For instance, all the financial management tools that will enable insurers to get paid for all the new enrollees. Of course, it’s looking like that’s not too urgent anyway. After spending over three years and hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on it, and after it’s been online for seven weeks, we just now learn that it’s only 60 percent finished. Maybe we should take Jay Leno’s advice. Jay noted that federal agents recently arrested several hackers who’d built dummy websites and tricked people into filling out fake enrollment forms to steal their private information. Jay asked, why are we arresting them? We should put them in charge of the real website. They’re actually enrolling people!
