If you think this request is disgusting, imagine people from overseas, say Russians, took over half of America, kicked out half the population, but allowed some of you to live in reservations, with your water and electricity strictly regulated, and occupying the military destroying your home if you make critical comments of the Russians. Imagine that you belonged to that group of Americans that had to flee to neighboring Mexico, with no right ever to return to the land where your ancestors had lived for hundreds of years.
