If you value the traditional contributions of our people, then you will enjoy the work of Benin master painter and sculptor Cyprien Tokoudagba who used his experience restoring Dahomey kingdoms and painting temple walls for voodoo priests to inform his work. And what he ended up creating was decades of murals, sculptures, and canvases that proudly display the gods, traditions, and belief systems of our ancestors. While he passed away in 2012, his work will clearly live on for decades -- and hopefully -- centuries to come. Check it out here:
