If you want to eat healthier & save $, buy foods that contain only one ingredient. There are SO many grocery aisles you will skip. Forget the frozen food aisle too. Stay away from preservatives. Dont buy anything over 12% sodium. Buy most of your food in the produce aisle. Forget salad dressing, olive oil & red wine vinegar is good, or lemons. Instead of dried herbs, buy fresh. You can get Cilantro & Italian parsley bunches 3 or 4/$1. Use olive, coconut or canola oil. Buy seeds & nuts, roasted & unsalted. Use for salads or snacks. Eat a green apple a day for a digestion aide. Buy garlic & ginger for soups. Drink TONS of water...
