If you want to talk about an amazing story, my mother in law lost her favorite cat 6 weeks ago. My mother in law is a widow and has leukemia. This cat kept her company at night and gave her such extreme joy. She took her to the vet 6 weeks ago and the vets aid did not latch the door properly. The cat ran away into the woods. Now mind you this cat is afraid of anyone but my mother in law. We looked high and low for weeks. We put out flyers, asked people in the neighborhoods, drove around, set traps and caught almost every possum in the area...still no kitty. My mother in law was devastated. She cried and cried. We just about gave up hope, then someone called my mother in law and said she saw a cat like hers near a bank near the vets office. Dan and his mom went out there and saw a cat like hers. They set a trap and after 4 tries caught it. It was her kitty! Gods providence strikes again! And we rejoiced over the lost kitty that was found. Puff is now in her arms 4 lbs lighter but happy and loved again!
