If you watch TV anywhere in the tri-state area, you have surely seen the ads featuring the handsome Sean Patrick Maloney. Those ads usually mention his accomplishments. One or two talk about his TeaPublican opponent, Nan Hayworth. I was a bit confused to see Nans ad this past week featuring her son, who talks about the challenges hes faced growing up gay, but assuring us his mother loves him. That baffled me, until I read this article and found out that Maloney is opening gay. She is trying to position herself as the pro-gay mother whose voting record proves her homophobia. This ought to end her political career, for good.
