If you would like to join us at our upcoming workshops, or volunteer with the HALO Learning Center in the future, please join us at this volunteer orientation. This semester HALO at UMKC will be hosting its very first workshop! Our group will be working directly with some of Kansas Citys at-risk youth to help raise their awareness about pursuing higher education. We will discuss the different options available like college, vocational school or certificate programs and help them map out their path to their dream career! Our workshops will be on Feb. 15 and April 12, so come to the volunteer orientation to be a part of the magic!
