If you would like your children to get out the door for school on time on St. Pattys day, be sure to tell that leprechaun not to play any tricks in the house. Even if your children SEEM that they desire this phenomenon before bed and you think you must be sure to invite that leprechaun in with open arms, just dont. With a trail of Reeces Pieces (dont judge) and furniture upside down this morning, there was initial delight and then the children refused to move out of total fear. A parent was required to accomplish the smallest of tasks from getting socks to toileting. I am not sure they beat the tardy bell. I wonder if that is an excused tardy? That one backfired. Mental note has been made and tucked away for 2015! Curse you teeny tiny leprechaun!
