If your child likes mind-bending puzzles, performing skits and/or building things, he or she has the opportunity to participate in Destination Imagination, a unique extra-curricular program for Prosper ISD students. In DI, student teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at a regional tournament. Teams that perform well may advance to state and global tournaments. Students learn to think on their feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the challenges. To learn more about forming a DI team, please visit our Destination Imagination Information Meeting on Thursday, September 25 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Prosper ISD administration building in the boardroom. For additional information about DI, please visit idodi.org. We need parent volunteers to help bring this program to Prosper ISD for our students. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Janet Anders [email protected] Prosper ISD 469-219-2032
