If your goal for doing better is nice watches, cars, shoes, clothes, or even vacations.... please tell me you own your own home. Cause if you dont, your goals are a little backwards. My grandparents never showed off (well my grams did to a degree but this is the woman who asked me to buy her air maxes when she was in her early 90s cause she liked mine). And they ended up with a beautiful 7 bedroom home with three bathrooms and three kids that they took care of and were able to help out if need be until they died. I dont think they even drove in my lifetime. But they had it all. A great family and their goals in order. Not once did they push cars or vacations on me... Just love, happiness, education, and to make a home. The real things that matter. You can strive for new shoes... Im striving to give my kid what really matters.
