If youre an undergraduate woman in MS interested in politics and/or public service, you really need to check out this amazing 5 day nonpartisan residential program happening on the MUW campus from May 19-23! The MS NEW Leadership program is a program where young female students hear from women in a variety of roles in the public arena, learn about politics and policy making and women’s political participation, explore ideas about leadership, and participate in hands-on skills-building exercises.By participating in the NEW Leadership program, you will be able to earn 2 college credits in leadership as well as have the opportunity to be mentored by residential faculty (termed Faculty in Residence, or FIRs), who are women political leaders who agree to stay in the residence halls with the students for the duration of the program.
