If youre going to start eating healthy please dont do individual nutrients like just vitamin supplements or just kale or just vegetables cause this can also cause disease. Diversify your meals with many colors of food and texture, less or no dairy, oil, even olive oil (use this for your skin) and meats even turkey. Whats happening when you do individual nutrients and foods is your cutting off the opportunity for the body to function right and pick and chose what it needs to function with. Changing your diet to mostly veggies and fruit will always help I know. Before going to Africa and learning how to prepare raw food from morning to night often I would not get my minstrel cycle for months and was happy about it which is not good. Eating mostly grain, veggies, rice from the ground and fruit from the trees and meet when we had it one little bone with a small couple of slithers of meat. Also I ran for 2 to 3 miles 2 times a week. My period came regularly didnt like it so much but I felt great and my hair grew and never had any blemishes on my face plus the sun helped a lot. This health stayed in my body up to 4 months after returning to America and eating everything in site that I thought I missed out on. So 4 years later I was told i was pre-diabetic and I needed to change my eating habits or take some pills to help. So I went back to what I learned from consecration at church since I didnt have what I use to in Africa: 2 day water or one (this is to flush you out, more like cold turkey and a great dollop of faith/prayer is necessary cause you get mood swings). 5 days of soups no salt and all natural juice with no sugar. 5 days of vegetables and fruits plus last weeks stuff. We would do this for a month and thats what i did and dropped pounds like nothing felt good and got my period back. So Im in the process of changing my way of eating slowly but surly and I still take a nab of the all American Dishes at times, but pray for me. youtube/watch?v=g__LROraYY8
