If youre in law enforcement and you havent figured theres an invisible target placed on you, you obviously havent been paying attention. The majority of officers being murdered are not in places like Chicago or New York. When the FBI was in Mississippi looking for three missing civil rights workers, one of them asked a local sheriff, How often do cops get killed around here? His response? Only once! Wake up and survive. I may have shared this before, but it bears repeating. Before I went to work the 1st night I slipped into my oldest sons room and looked at him sleeping in his crib and whispered, John, your dad will always come home to you.
