If youre looking for optics for your rifle, but do not have an Eotech/Aimpoint/Nightforce budget, you need to look at Vortex. We have both Aimpoint and Vortex on our rifles. Vortex has proven to be reliable and holds zero extremely well. Their rifle magnification scopes like the PST, and red dots like the Sparc and Strikefire, are performing extremely well. On Red dots, battery life is extremely good (300 hours on highest and 5000 hours on lowest with my Sparc II). MAC at Military Arms Channel has done a great series of reviews for them. Hes had a Sparc I on his rifles for 3 years of hard shooting and still has great things to say about it. They are hundreds less than the other options, and for some that could be the difference between having an optic or not. If you are looking for a good optic on a budget, these will do the job.
