If youre married and both spouse work a full time job with low to moderate income and is experiencing budget challenges, youre probably living above your means. Each household similarly situated should strive to live off only one of the income coming in. You may say thats not possible, but what if one of you lost your job and youre forced to do what you initially considered the impossible--what then? Trust me, the solution is attainable. First you must learn to recognize the difference between needs (economic) and wants. Always getting what you want will necessarily keep you in the poor house! Living at or above your means will never produce an opportunity to give or save and that is an egregious shame! The time is fast approaching when many families will experience a windfall in the form of earned income credit/rapid refund, which typically exceeds $4,000! You cant convince me that half of that couldnt be earmarked for investing in an IRA or other investment /saving plans. If you didnt know, now you know how to take small steps to creating wealth and stop making a mess acquiring stuff. This posting is not done to elicit your endorsement or like, etc, rather I genuinely would like to see our people seize control of theirs and their kids financial security!
