If youre not on my personal FB page, a quick update: our team placed 2nd overall and won back approximately $120k for our two military charities! That equates to 3 custom built homes for wounded combat operators, and a couple college degrees for Air Force search and rescue kids. We also happened to be the 3rd place team overall in shooting (take that all you sniper teams!) and because we are awesome, we also were awarded best dressed. I will post all the photos there, but I wanted to take a second and talk about one of our shooters. I have a lot more to tell you about but Im starting with Captain Ivan Castro. The only blind green beret on active duty. His motto is to never give up. He shot 25 rounds of trap at the end of the competition with a guide giving him directional cues. Inspiration is the word... He hit 18 out of 25.
