If youve heard about the Icelandic economic wonder - and the amazing economic recovery from the president and government officials in Iceland, then I can tell you it is bullshit. As in BULLSHIT! The green numbers we are seeing from Iceland is an indication of growth, but that takes place only in limited circles. For ordinary people, and families in particular, life has never been worse. Life quality for children brought back 11 years with Iceland topping the list of fastest growing child poverty. Now 31,6% of Icelandic children live in poverty, compared to 11,2% in 2008. Iceland is now at the bottom of all OECD countries, below Greece. And how is the government reacting? They are raising food taxes, cutting down in health care, restricting education and raising taxes on books and literature. Which is usually the recipe for a poverty trap. Idiots! Iceland has become a corrupt third world country. Bravo. Time for a rebellion.
