As the Huffington Post points out, several viewers have taken note of this code and set out on a fact-finding mission to solve the mystery. The “A113” code appears in movies like “Finding Nemo,” “Up,” Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars” and more. it has also reportedly popped up in popular animated TV shows like “The Simpsons” and “American Dad.” Now, some Internet sleuths on Reddit have revealed what the code means. “A113 refers to a classroom number at the California Institute of Arts. It was the classroom for first year graphic design and character animation, where many of the animators at Pixar and Disney, and several other studios, discovered and mastered their craft,” User TheGhostWhoHatesSpills writes. ”The use of A113 in their films is a friendly nod to one another that they once shared a classroom without which they would never be doing what they’re doing now.”
