Ihedioha Clocks 3 As A Deputy Speaker By Ambrose Nwaogwugwu Today 6, june in 2011 was a historic day in the in the democratic cum political records of Nigeria as a soverign nation. It was a day history was made. Today in history will ever be a day that will never be forgotten in a hurry on what transpired at the federal house of Representatives; it was the day Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha was elected as the deputy speaker of the federal house of representative. It is not however a great and historic day because Ihedioha was elected as a presiding officer of the house, no, but the circumstance that lead to his emergence was significantly awesome and was a plus to the democratic build up of Nigeria. It was historic because never in the countrys history that a presiding officer of the federal house was elected by 100% the house members cuting accrose both rulling and opposition members and was elected as the deputy speaker of the federal house, unopposed; it was indeed a milestone to the growth and advancement of our nascent and tender democracy. The deputy speaker, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha did not disappoint his members on the trust of service delivery reposed on him as three years along the line, he had used his office most judcially well and gave it his utmost best in terms of first class leadership. Aside giving his most best shots in legislative functions and his prsidng duties as a presiding officer, it has been a three years of Many Verifiable Projects, many solid roads built, many youth and women empowerment, many human capital development, Many Appointments of Imo sons and daughters into federal boards, many facilitation of federal projects in Imo State, many schools renovated, Many boreholes fixed, many Solar lights fixed, many transformers given, and many promises kept. Ride on His excellency, Rt. Hon. Chukwuemeka Nkem Ihedioha, CON, KSC. Congratulations on your three years anniversary as the No 6 Citizen of this great Nation.
