Ikea recently launched a new campaign with perfect timing - coming ahead of Apples big device reveal this week – The ad “an apple parody” – boosts eternal battery life and instantaneous page loading of the Swedish retailers ordinary paper catalog. Its a bookbook - not a digital book, or an e-book. Created by BBH Asia Pacific for Singapore and Malaysia, the campaign has reached way beyond those markets, racking up nearly 8.9 million views on YouTube in under a week. As well as praise, Twitter followers have questioned the originality of the ad – pointing out that The Sun (British Newspaper) had the same great idea, five years ago.
